You sent your breath to me you helped me breath again
With the first new steps I took
I saw you walk with me I felt your light within
I saw your eyes from the past
so familiar now was it always true
I was alone, in the dark
You helped me see the light so I must thank you again

Through the storm I’ve taken flight
All the past is washed with a healing rain
Wading through the deepest night
In to the light of truth nothing left to fain
And when my gods smile down on me
I will plant my feet on this sacred ground
Shed my skin for the world to see
As I rejoin the earth a spirit lost and found again
